Hello Shielders, as a part of one of the Shield series airdrops, we’re beyond excited to announce our community-exclusive airdrop — the Shield Nuclear Airdrop!
What is Shield Nuclear Airdrop?
To show our appreciation of the community’s unwavering support, Shield will be rewarding the model community members for past actions taken by them across Shield’s variety of marketing campaigns. Based on the airdrop rules and the number of addresses we have collected, a total of 4,085,754 Shield tokens (SLD) will be distributed to the users who meet the requirements. This will be randomly divided into two rounds on the Binance Smart Chain. The number of $SLD that each user can claim is equivalent to the frequency of the actions conducted by them. The more actions you perform on Shield, the more rewards can be collected from this campaign!

The airdrop will be live from August 5th to September 12th and will be divided into two sections:
Round 1: 12 PM, August 5th (UTC)
Round 2: 12 PM, August 12th (UTC)
Who’s Qualified?
To make the cut you would have had to perform any of the actions below:
- Participated in Shield Kovan & BSC testnet
- Participated in Shield ITO application
- Participated in 1st & 2nd Bug Bounty Program
- Shield Gleam Series Campaign
- If you meet any of the above criteria, you can visit https://Shieldex.io and connect your Metamask wallet to check the available tokens that you can claim at these two specific periods!
- If you are sure that you are eligible, but you did not qualify in the 1st round, you can wait for the 2nd round to check again, which will be at 12PM, August 12th (UTC).
- The due date for the same is September 12th, and the unclaimed $SLD rewards will be redistributed to a community pool. It’s highly recommended that you claim your rewards as quickly as possible!
- Considering the gas fees, all airdrop rewards will be distributed on Binance Smart Chain and you can switch the network to claim $SLD.
How to Claim Your $SLD
To claim your $SLD rewards all you have to do is go to https://shieldex.io, connect your wallet, and click the airdrop button at the right corner. There you will see how much $SLD you’ve been rewarded.
What Can You Do with Your $SLD
1.GOVERNANCE — Shield is the community itself and will be governed by DAO shortly. The main purpose of $SLD is to decide the product roadmap, ecosystem support, and reshape the future derivatives protocol.
2.SWAP&BURN — The value of the SLDs mined is redeemed by Swap&Burn contracts. Shield generates a buyback price by making 10% of the total SLDs outstanding always equal to 100% of the repurchase pool value (derived from 90% of the transaction fees). Shield token holders can utilize Swap&Burn to earn profits.
3.HODL — Starting soon, early ShieldEx holders will have an opportunity to earn from the community $SLD rewards pool. The ability to claim will be dependent on the amount of on-chain actions they take within our ecosystem.
