Shield Ecosystem Update - July 2021
July was a great month for the Shield Team. Here is a report of the major highlights of this exciting month!
- Got listed on PancakeSwap
Shield got listed on PancakeSwap in late July 2021. Not only is PancakeSwap one of the leasing DEX’s built on Binance Smart Chain, but it also offers swift transaction confirmation at very low fees, thereby providing a seamless trading experience. This listing will certainly benefit Shield in many ways. In connection with this, a listing giveaway worth 5,000 $SLD was also conducted, where 50 winners stood eligible to get 100 $SLD on Binance Smart Chain. This $SLD listing on PancakeSwap will also give traders access to increased liquidity, advanced features exclusive to Binance Smart Chain, and the upcoming $SLD mining on BSC.
2. Strategic Partnership with PolyNetwork
In late July, Shield entered into a strategic alliance with Poly Network. This partnership will not only provide users with a smoother cross-chain experience for $SLD, but it will also leverage the DEXs’ interoperability on multiple chains. The $SLD cross-chain is also now live, and users can experience a seamless transfer supported by Poly Network.
3. CoinMarketCap Airdrop Event
The Airdrop event with CoinMarketCap witnessed over 184k participants, making it one of the highest figures in CoinMarketCap’s history. Over 66k $SLD was distributed to the 600 people who emerged as winners. The second Shield Airdrop series is all set to come out soon.
4. Shield Class Test & Academy
Since July, we’ve organized a series of daily quizzes, weekly classes, and Shield Academy to help users brush up their understanding of derivatives, Shield’s core values, and the innovative mechanisms behind the scenes. Moreover, users engage and participate in the Shield global ecosystem and benefit in the long term.
5. Shield’s AMA Session on Discord
Shield’s Discord Community hosted Mr. Charles, one of the project’s major team members, in a live Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session on July 8, 2021. The session was led by Gabby, the Shield Discord Community Admin. The AMA was broken down into three sections: questions from the Community Admin, Community live questions chosen by the Guest, and questions from the Guest to the Discord Community.
